Promo Mechanics:
The promo is open to all active principal and supplementary credit cardholders of Mastercard, Visa, JCB, UnionPay, Diners Club and American Express Cards issued by BDO, including BDO Virtual Cards. Installment Cards, Corporate Cards and Commercial Cards are excluded from the promo.
The Promo Period is from October 16 to December 31, 2020.
To qualify for the cash back:
The Cardholder must enroll within the promo period by using the Promo ID sent by BDO via Viber or SMS or email. Click here to enroll.
Principal and Supplementary Cardholders must enroll separately. Enrollment of a Cardholder automatically enrolls all his/her qualified BDO Credit Card/s, including BDO Virtual Card under his/her name.
The Cardholder must use qualified BDO Credit Card within the promo period for any of the following transactions:
Local retail transactions (straight or installment)
Online or internet purchases
Foreign Currency purchases
Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO)
The Cardholder must meet the spend requirement.
Single-Receipt Spend Treat P3,000 or USD 60 P100 or USD 2 cash back P15,000 or USD 300 P500 or USD 10 cash back The cash back computation will be based on the actual Peso or Dollar value reflected on the Statement of Account.
The following transactions are not qualified for cash back:
Cash advances (local or international) made via ATM or over the counter.
Transactions from casinos or from merchants engaged in betting or gambling.
Any type of Bills Payment such as Auto Charge, Charge-on-Demand, utility or recurring bills, loan payments and the like.
Transactions from stock trading, foreign exchange trading, financial trading services, remittance, and the like.
BDO Internal Installment Programs such as but not limited to EasyPay Balance Transfer, EasyPay Cash Out, EasyPay Convert and Cash-It-Easy.
Business transactions such as but not limited to (i) direct or multi-level marketing, from merchants specifically engaged in wholesale and distribution and (iii) professional services.
Any transaction used to register or redeem from other ongoing BDO Credit Card Promos.
The maximum cash back entitlement is P5,000 for every qualified BDO Credit Card enrolled in the promo. Cash back earned from qualified BDO Virtual Card transactions form part of the total cash back of the card where it is linked.
Awarding of cash back credits will follow the transaction date of the qualified spend. All cash back earned by the Principal Cardholder shall be posted on the Principal Cardholder’s account where the transaction was made. All cash back earned by the Supplementary Card/ BDO Virtual Card shall be posted on the Principal Cardholder’s account where it is linked. Click here for sample computation.
Cash back credits will be posted in Philippine Peso for transactions posted in Peso currency or in US Dollar for US Dollar-denominated BDO Credit Cards.
Cash back earned for this promo will be credited on or before February 15, 2021 with transaction description “Shop Anywhere Cash Back”. An SMS notification for the final cash back earned will be sent to the mobile number registered in BDO’s system.
Cardholder’s transactions covered by the ‘Shop Anywhere Cash Back” Promo cannot be used in conjunction with and may no longer be used in any other on-going BDO Credit Card Promo. Similarly, cardholders can no longer request for disenrollment from the Promo.
General Terms and Conditions:
The Principal Cardholder must examine his/her statement of account for any errors related to the Shop Anywhere Cash Back Promo All questions and issues arising from the Promo will only be accepted not later than by April 15, 2021, after which the Promotion is considered conclusive.
Cash back awarded is non-transferable and not convertible to cash. It is treated as payment for purchases made or any outstanding balance on the Card.
BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the cash back previously posted if the qualifying spend is disputed, or cancelled; if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent; if there’s erroneous posting of the cash back and/ or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another on-going BDO Credit Card promo.
Account (single and dual currency accounts) must be active and without past due obligation during the Promo Period until the awarding of cash back credits. Delinquent accounts will no longer be eligible for the Promotion.
Splitting of a single transaction into several approvals for purposes of generating more cash back credits is prohibited. For multiple transactions generated from the same merchant, store or establishment made within the same day, only the first qualified transaction will be eligible for cash back per Cardholder even if he/she has more than one (1) qualified BDO Credit Card. Remaining transactions will not be eligible.
In case of dispute in respect of but not limited to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, fulfillment, etc., BDO’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promo or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.
This Promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Cards and American Express Cards.
